スウェーバック、フットワーク）の大きく2種類に分けられ、
パンチを身体の一部で防いだり、体勢や位置を動かしてパンチを避けたりする技術で、反撃に繋げるために重要です。
基本は顎を引き肘を締めるガードを保ちつつ、相手のパンチの種類（ストレート、フックなど）に応じて、膝を曲げて体をかがめるダッキング、
左右に体を振るウィービング、体を傾けるスウェーバックなどを使い分け、フットワークで最適な位置へ移動するのが効果的です。
主なディフェンス技術
ブロック (Block) / ガード (Guard):
両腕を構え、グローブや前腕で相手のパンチを正面から防ぎます。
顎を引き、肘を締めて脇腹を隠すのが基本姿勢です。
パーリング (Parrying):
手首や前腕を使い、パンチを軽くはじいて軌道を変える技術です。
ダッキング (Ducking):
膝の屈伸を使って上体をかがめ、相手のパンチを頭上でかわします。
頭から下げず、膝を落とすのがポイントです。
ウィービング (Weaving):
上体を左右に振り、S字を描くようにしてパンチをかわします。
ダッキングと組み合わせることで、より攻撃を避けやすくなります。
スウェーバック (Sway Back / Swaying):
体を横に傾け、パンチの軌道から外します。
フットワーク (Footwork):
ステップを使って相手の攻撃範囲から出たり、カウンターを狙いやすい位置に移動したりします。
クリンチ (Clinch):
接近戦で相手の攻撃を防ぐため、一時的に組みつくことです。
