1. マッチドグリップ (Matched Grip)
両手を同じように握る、現代のドラム演奏で最も一般的なスタイルです。
ジャーマングリップ: 手の甲を真上に向けます。パワーが出しやすく、ロックやポップスに向いています。
アメリカングリップ: 手の甲を斜め45度くらいに向けます。ジャーマンとフレンチの中間で、汎用性が高い握り方です。
フレンチグリップ: 親指を真上に向けます。指先を使いやすく、速い連打やジャズの繊細なプレイに適しています。
2. レギュラーグリップ (Regular Grip)
左手を逆手に持つ、伝統的な握り方です。ジャズやマーチングバンドでよく使われます。
基本的な握りのポイント
支点を作る: 親指と人差し指（または中指）で、スティックの端から3分の1程度の位置を軽く挟みます。
隙間を作る: 手のひらの中に卵を一つ持っているようなイメージで、空間を作ります。
