Compared to previous albums, it has a relatively more subdued feel. However, every track remains accessible, building on MR. BIG's established foundation.
Eric's vocals blend perfectly with Richie's playing, and Pat's groove fits Richie's compositions like a glove.

Their eighth studio album, released in September 2014. It took 4years to follow up their previous album, during which time the band faced various issues. In particular, drummer Pat Torpey was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease, and by the time recording began, his condition had deteriorated to the point where he was no longer able to play. For this album, his past drum tracks were digitally edited to complete the recordings. In some sections, drummer Matt Starr(Ace Frehley Band) provided support to help finish the album.
Furthermore, the album proved to be a trial for the band, with guitarist Paul Gilbert’s hearing loss and the need to coordinate with Billy Sheehan’s activities in other bands.
However, the content is substantial, and it's a good album that continues the sound established by its previous work, “WHAT IF...”.

The experience gained on tour and the band's growth as a unit are clearly evident in the result. Abstract
In this preliminary note, I introduce two theoretical degrees of freedom, Partring and Reverse Partring, as intermediate objects between ordinary particle-like locality and string-like spatial extension. The Partring field is defined as a mode carrying both localized and extended aspects, while the Reverse Partring field is its dual reversed counterpart with respect to spectral sign, temporal orientation, or observational ordering. Based on these two fields, I propose a minimal coupled system involving a spectral kernel built from the Riemann xi-function, and I discuss the possibility that an effective dark sector may emerge from their symmetric or antisymmetric combination.
