I just went to a weeding last month. It was my friend’s one. She looked very happy in her beautiful, pure-white dress. I was also happy to see her mother again after a while.
47. What sort of gifts do people buy for the bridal couple?
At the wedding ceremony, people in general would rather give cash instead of presents. Most people give them gifts when the couple moves into their new home.
48. Do most young people plan on getting married in your country?
The number of marriages has been decreasing every year. There are some reasons why they don’t get married. For instance, The difficulties of balancing a career with family life may affect.
49. What do you think are the advantages and disadvantages of marriage?
Since I have never go through a marriage life, I don’t have any idea what the marriage is like. That said, I believe there is a benefit to support each other whenever they are in any situation.
50. Do you like to travel?
Yes I do like to travel. I wish I could travel to Finland. I heard a story from my teacher about the fantastic church with simple wooden benches there. The view of it impressed me so much.

I teach keyboard music for my students.
Also I am planning to study abroad in two years.

I really enjoy my job. That’s because I like to look after others studying hard. And I prefer to share my experiences and thoughts.

I am just a hired teacher.
4. Is there anything you hate about your work/studies?
Arranging schedule makes me feel annoyed. I need to make three-month plans constantly. It is demanding for me to balance teaching jobs and performance opportunities.
5. What job would you like to do in the future?
I would like to engage in classical music, especially in performance industries. But it is so competitive job. So I am going to pursue both a teaching position and a player career.

アンディ・パートリッジは、2022年クリスマスをテーマにしたEP「My Failed Christmas Career」（成功しなかった私の作曲キャリア「クリスマス版」）をリリースしていますが、これは元々他のアーティストを想定して制作した楽曲を集めたEPシリーズの第3弾としてリリースされています。ご紹介している曲は冒頭に収められている曲ですが、このEPの曲、全部オススメです。ちなみに、4曲目ではアンディの娘のヴォーカルも聴けます。
