Entire communities have been reduced to rubble, and many heritage sites have been damaged or destroyed. While people are still pulling loved ones from the debris, the criminal military junta continues its campaign of terror.
Even on the day of the earthquake, the junta launched airstrikes. While junta media broadcasts the military’s performative visits to quake-hit areas and their pleas for international aid, the bombs kept falling. Civilians, already devastated by the disaster, are forced to endure further violence.
