天気は晴れだが予報通り寒波到来。一日中気温も低めだった。今日はウォーキングもやめた。朝の最低気温1℃で今夜からは更に冷える（23時で-1℃、明日の6時は-4℃）。最高気温4℃。紫外線17時まで「弱い」、乾燥状態12時「超カラカラ」、21時まで「カラカラ」、風雪・波浪注意報→低温注意報発令。
朝食は黒糖クリームコッペパン、カスタードアーモンドパン、インスタントのホットコーヒー。
年末年始になると、今年の反省や来年の目標を考えなきゃならないような気がしてくる。そして大した結論は出ない。勤めている頃だったら目標も立てやすい部分があった。たいてい「字を丁寧に書こう」とか「ミスしないように確認を徹底しよう」とかだったりした。しかし結局ナアナアになったりしたのだが。
そもそもこの歳になると、年間目標ではなく「これから先どう生きるか」という漠然とした“目標”になってしまう。その前提で考えたら、さまざまな事柄に対してもっとジックリ取り組み、深く考えを巡らしたいという思いが浮かんだ。今の超速時代の反対を行く。どうせ企業には所属していない。働いて働いての世界とは無縁になったのだ。というわけで、存在しない四字熟語だが「丁寧深慮」、これで行こう。とりあえず一年間忘れませんように。
お昼は焼き芋と黒糖パン少し。しばらくして蜂楽饅頭黒白半分ずつ。
ライナーノーツ担当盤のフラーテーションズ『ナッシング・バット・ア・ハートエイク』が到着。また1枚、世に送られたディスクに参加出来て感無量である。
夕食は、御飯に御飯の友ふりかけ、ホッケの開き、豚バラ大根、大根とじゃがいもの味噌󠄀汁。食後にキャラメルコーン（ソルティパイン味）、ひとくちクッキー。
ジェイムズ・“シュガーボーイ”・クロフォード『ジョック・ア・モー : ベスト・オブ・アーリー・イヤーズ』から(5)「I Bowed On My Knees」。54年＜チェッカー＞時代の録音。名義はシュガー・ボーイ。ニューオーリンズ音楽ならではのグルーヴは永遠に聴けそうだ。特に乾いたドラムは正に丁寧深慮。
