Call me when my blood sugar hits the max. After that, I’ll go eat yakiniku.
And then your blood sugar goes off the charts. Feels good, doesn’t it?

0071:DAVID LEE ROTH/SKYSCRAPER

Second album released in 1988, recorded with the same members as the previous album, and reached #6 on the US charts. This album strongly reflects Steve Vai's sound. It gives the impression of "packaging of individuality" rather than " flashy as rock".

Billy Sheen left the band after recording, and Greg's brother, Matt Bissonette, joined the band from the tour.

I watched RIJ (RTA in Japan), the runs of FF9 and FF10-2.

It’s amazing that so many people have written their theses on FF9! That really shows how much of a masterpiece it is.

When I realized, in the ending, that Steiner was casting a shadow shaped like Vivi, it moved me deeply.

This RIJ was wonderful too. The way the runners break everything down to the ultimate level and build their charts—it’s so full of love, and that love itself is precious.

They’re not just game players. They’re performers. Or rather, they’re like musicians. It feels like an art form all its own.

This is the ninth album released in 1991.
It was completed with Ted Templeman as producer for the first time in seven years.
The album is a guitar oriented album, almost completely eliminating the use of keyboards and synthesizers, which had been heavily used since the late 80's. This album also reached No. 1 in the U.S., and is the third consecutive album since Sammy joined the band.

This album also reached No. 1 in the U.S., making it the third consecutive album to reach No. 1 on the charts after Sammy joined the band. It also won a Grammy Award for Best Hard Rock Performance.

0073:DAVID LEE ROTH/YOUR FILTHY LITTLE MOUTH

This is the fourth album released in 1994. In a sense, the appointment of Nile Rodgers as producer was a surprise.
The sound of the album is closer to DLR's own musical origins. Instead of the arena rock style of the past, it features a wide range of music, including blues, jazz, big band, country, disco, and rock.
The band members have also changed. Touring members not from the metal community were assembled.

However, listeners' image of DLR and what they wanted from him diverged greatly, and the band failed to make it to #78 on the North American charts. The contract with Warner, with whom DLR had been in a relationship for many years, was terminated.

0015:BONJOVI/LOST HIGHWAY

This album was released in the relatively short span of one year and nine months after the previous album, which boasted great sales.
I had expected that the flow of Who Says You Can't Go Home, which reached No. 1 on the country charts, would lead them in that direction, and I was right.

It was recorded in Nashville and contains "country as they describe it.
Artists of this era tended to gravitate toward country or blues in later years.
In the case of Japanese, it may be that they tend to lean toward 演歌,歌謡曲 (traditional Japanese ballads) and songs as they get older.
I still expect massive arena rock like the previous album, but I guess it can't be helped that there are times like this.

0007:BONJOVI/THESE DAYS

It had been 2 years and 8 months since their last album, KEEP THE FAITH, was released.

The feel of the song itself was typical of the band, but the lyrics were darker in a sense, and the band was concerned about the difference from their past positive feelings. It is true that the lyrics were not the same as their previous songs, such as "It's all right! Look forward!but the melody line is very positive, just like them.

The album reached No. 1 on the charts in the U.K. and Japan. This album ensured their popularity in East Asia, Southeast Asia, and Europe. On the other hand, in the U.S., when I said, "My favorite band is Bon Jovi," I was treated as "lame dude" by people around me. I can say this from my own experience lol
