Original album released in 2008. It is an album that is very much in the spirit of "This is Motley Crue! This album has a very "Motley Crue" feel to it.
If only they had released this album 10 years earlier, they would have had an even better catalog...

The album also charted at #4 in the U.S. and won a Grammy Award in the Hard Rock/Heavy Metal category, marking the band's first success with an original album in a long time.

0039:MOTLEY CRUE/GREATEST HITS

The band went back to its original lineup and dropped their second best-of album in 1998. It’s got a solid mix of major tunes from their entire catalog, all well-balanced.

There are also two new tracks on here. They’re a bit more mellow than what you'd expect from them, but honestly, they’re pretty good. Kinda makes you wish they had kept going in this direction, but sadly, that vibe didn’t really carry over into their later songs.

After the album came out, they hit the road for a U.S. tour. With Vince Neil back in the mix, the setlist was packed with their greatest hits, making for a killer live show. Fans loved it, and the tour wrapped up on a high note.
