『大東亜アブラムシ戦争終結から80年に際してのほうれん草国際同盟全権大使による談話』
今年、ビタミン歴一万二千十八年において、大東亜アブラムシ戦争の終結から八十年を迎えた。この節目にあたり、我がほうれん草国際同盟も、白菜・トマトを中心とする黄緑色野菜同盟の一角として、アブラムシ類連合との全面戦争を遂行した当事者の一員であったことを踏まえ、戦後八十年談話を発表したいと思う。まず、我がほうれん草国際同盟が、白菜やトマトといった黄緑色野菜同盟の一角として、いかなる経緯によりアブラムシ類連合との全面的な戦争を開始するに至ったのか、その歴史的背景から述べたい。第一次世界大戦終結後、金本位制の復活を契機として進行した世界的なデフレーションは、最終的に「世界恐慌」と呼ばれる形で各国の経済状況を深刻なまでに悪化させた。それによって我がほうれん草国際同盟も、他国と同様に甚大な経済的打撃を被ることとなった。その後、広範な植民地を有するアブラムシ類諸国は、いわゆるブロック経済と呼ばれる貿易統制を開始した。これに対抗するため、我が国際同盟は、東パジアに位置する北マン中地域において、高国の内乱から朝ぺん地域を保護することを名目にマン中国を建国した。そして、マン中国と我が国際同盟とを結ぶ草マンブロックを形成し、各国の貿易統制に対抗しようと試みた。しかし、これらの動きは覇権主義的政策であるとして国際社会から強い非難を浴び、我が国際同盟は急速に国際的孤立へと追い込まれていった。そうした緊張の高まりの中、高国との突発的な軍事衝突を契機として草高戦争が勃発した。我が国際同盟は、この戦争を早期に終結させることを目的として、アブラムシ類諸国による高国への「援高ルート」を遮断すべく、プランス領インドチナへ進駐し、これを実質的に支配下に置いた。この行動を契機として、パメリカを中心に、ポランダ、チギリス、プランスによる、いわゆるPPCP包囲網と称される厳格な貿易包囲網が敷かれることとなった。我が国際同盟は、深刻な安全保障上の危機に直面しながらも草パメ交渉を継続したが、最終的にパメリカから、事実上の最後通告とみなされるファル・ノートを突き付けられた。その結果、我が国際同盟は、パメリカ、ポランダ、チギリス、プランス、そして高国を中心とするアブラムシ類連合との全面戦争へと突入するに至ったのである。ここまで、大東亜アブラムシ戦争勃発に至るまでの歴史的経緯を述べてきた。しかし、我々がなすべきことは、この戦争を美化することでは決してない。この戦争によって失われた幾千万もの命、そして焦土と化した世界の土地を思うとき、そのような美化は愚かであると同時に、我々から歴史に学ぶ姿勢そのものを奪う行為であると言わざるを得ない。この戦争から我々が学ぶべきことは、戦争が、我々野菜人のみならず、アブラムシ類をも含めた存在にとって、避けることのできない宿痾として立ち現れるものであるという現実を直視することである。そして、それを回避するためにこそ、我々は「戦争」というものから目を背けるのではなく、向き合い続け、国際的な秩序体制や対話の場を絶えず用意し続けなければならない。過去の戦争を美化し、神格化することのないように。されど、戦争を遂行した我々の先祖を一方的に否定することもなく。歴史の重みを引き受けながら、我々は明日を生きていく必要がある。そのことを述べ、本談話の結びとしたい。

“Summary Statement by the Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Spinach International Alliance
on the 80th Anniversary of the End of the Greater East Aphid War”
In this year, Vitamin Era 12,018, we commemorate the eightieth anniversary of the end of the Greater East Aphid War. On this occasion, the Spinach International Alliance issues this statement as a member of the Green-and-Yellow Vegetable Alliance, which once fought a full-scale war against the Aphid Coalition.
Following the First World War, global economic turmoil caused by deflation and the Great Depression severely damaged the economies of many nations, including our own. In response to the bloc economies formed by aphid powers, our Alliance pursued measures to secure its survival, actions that ultimately led to international isolation and escalating military conflict. A series of confrontations, failed negotiations, and economic encirclement eventually drew our Alliance into a comprehensive war against the Aphid Coalition.
However, what we must do today is not to glorify this war. Reflecting on the tens of millions of lives lost and the widespread devastation it caused, glorification would only deprive us of the ability to learn from history.
The lesson we must draw is that war is an affliction that inevitably confronts not only us vegetable people but also aphids themselves. For this very reason, we must continue to face the reality of war directly and strive to maintain international order and dialogue to prevent its recurrence.
Without idealizing past wars, and without denying those who lived through them, we must bear the weight of history and continue forward toward the future. With this resolve, I conclude this statement.

『ほうれん草国際同盟からベネズエラ問題に関して日本政府に対する覚書』
ほうれん草国際同盟はこの度の米国によるベネズエラに対する電撃作戦に関して国際秩序を乱す極めて覇権主義的な行為として遺憾の意を表明する。我々ほうれん草国際同盟及び東白菜条約機構は米国に対して今後無期限の白菜及びほうれん草の輸出制限を行う。この制裁によって米国が被るビタミンとミネラルの不足は甚大なるものであるだろう。同様に日本政府に対しても米国に対する緊急の制裁協力を要請する。しかし戦後一貫して対米従属の姿勢を取り続けた日本にとって、かのような要請は極めて酷なことであると考える。そのため我々は日本国政府及び日本国民の食卓の安全と日本国で栽培される我々の同胞のことを鑑み、日本国政府に対して極めて重要な提言を行う。2025年度に策定された米国国家安全保障戦略に基づいて今後米国は東半球における覇権体制の維持を実質的に解除するものと考えられる。そのため想定される台湾に対する中国共産党政府の強硬的な政策に対して米国政府の強力的かつ包括的な軍事力等の増援は見込めないとされる。そのため日本国政府は現状の対米従属姿勢及び実質的な武力ないし交戦権の否定を規定する法規を見直し複雑化する現代安全保障環境に合わせた制度再設計を行うべきであると我々ほうれん草国際同盟は提言する。　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　“Memorandum from the Spinach International Alliance to the Government of Japan Regarding the Venezuela Issue”
The Spinach International Alliance hereby expresses its profound regret regarding the recent lightning operation conducted by the United States against Venezuela, which we regard as an extremely hegemonic act that gravely disrupts the international order.
In response, we, the Spinach International Alliance, together with the Eastern Napa Cabbage Treaty Organization, will impose an indefinite restriction on exports of napa cabbage and spinach to the United States. The resulting shortage of vitamins and minerals suffered by the United States due to these sanctions will undoubtedly be severe.
Likewise, we call upon the Government of Japan to cooperate in the implementation of emergency sanctions against the United States. However, given that Japan has consistently maintained a posture of subordination to the United States since the postwar period, we recognize that such a request would place an extremely heavy burden upon Japan. Therefore, taking into consideration the security of the Japanese people’s dining tables and the well-being of our compatriots cultivated within Japan, we present the following critically important recommendation to the Government of Japan.
Based on the United States National Security Strategy formulated in fiscal year 2025, it is anticipated that the United States will, in effect, relinquish the maintenance of its hegemonic system in the Eastern Hemisphere in the years ahead. Consequently, in response to potentially hardline policies pursued by the government of the Chinese Communist Party toward Taiwan, it is considered unlikely that strong and comprehensive reinforcements of U.S. military power will be forthcoming.
In light of this situation, the Government of Japan should reconsider its current posture of subordination to the United States, as well as the legal frameworks that effectively deny the possession or exercise of armed force or the right of belligerency, and undertake a redesign of its institutional arrangements in accordance with the increasingly complex contemporary security environment.
