Just knowing you are there when I wake up sends a wave of tension through me from the moment I open my eyes. I try to make as little noise as possible, being careful not to wake you... yet the same ordinary day begins regardless.
You go to bed earlier than anyone else. But even after that, the tension stays with me. Make as little noise as possible... don't wake you...
It’s no different when you’re awake. At some point, you started staying in your room whenever I’m around. You might not mean anything by it, but with your door wide open, it feels like you’re listening in, constantly watching my every move. So whenever you’re there, I’m always tense, walking on eggshells...
Living like this every day is exhausting. I’m at home, yet I can never truly rest.
Why, you ask?
Because I never know what will set you off, or when. And the moment that switch is flipped, you suddenly start screaming at me.

It terrifies me to even recall those nights spent trembling in fear of something.
Hey, am I smiling convincingly?

Right now, I’m leaning against your knees, praying the demons won’t come.

Hey, tell me it’s going to be okay.

Because you believe in me so fiercely—almost unbelievably so.

Your arms, your voice, your back—they’re right here, and rain is beating down on my parched earth.

I know—I know so well it makes me want to cry—
that there’s no escape; you’d chase me to the ends of the earth.

On this road that stretches on so cruelly, if I were to turn into a gemstone...

...then cast me into the flames with your own hands.

Anything in the way vanishes in an instant; just let me remain a piece of junk.

Your arms, your voice, your back—they’re right here, stirring up the true feelings I’ve let grow dull.

I don’t want to realize it—the part of me that’s trying to outrun myself.
How much longer must I keep running?

I can’t find any beautiful words worthy of you hearing them.

Before you bind me—me, screaming out of self-loathing—
don’t try to be gentle with me.

Your arms, your voice, your back—they’re right here, and rain is beating down on my parched earth.

I know—I know so well it makes me want to cry—
that there’s no escape; you’d chase me to the ends of the earth.

Your arms, your voice, your back—they’re right here.

BGMはHelloweenの『Keeper of the Seven Keys』。

Make the people hold each other's hands
And fill their hearts with truth

Disease, disease, disease, my friend
For this whole world's in devil's hand

Throw the first key into the sea of hate
Throw the second key into the sea of fear
Throw the third key into the sea of senselessness

---

The fourth key belongs into the sea of greed
And the fifth into the sea of ignorance

Throw the key or you may die

An earthquake, squirting fire, bursting ground
Satan's screaming and the earth swallowing him away!

You're the Keeper of the Seven Keys
That lock up the seven seas

---

There ain't no more demons and no more disease
