0046:MOTLEY CRUE/THE END: LIVE IN LOS ANGELES
In January 2014, the band announced a final tour starting in July. This live album was recorded in December of the same year in their hometown of Los Angeles.
Well, we knew it was coming, but it was not "THE END" as they announced that they would break their suspension agreement in 2019 and resume their activities after a 4 year hiatus.

0063:VAN HALEN/BEST OF VOLUME I
The band's first best album, released in 1996. In addition to songs from past albums, three new songs are included.
"Humans Being" was the soundtrack to the movie "Twister". It was recorded before Sammy left the band.
"Can't Get This Stuff No More" and "Me Wise Magic" are new songs that were recorded after the return of original singer Div Lee Roth was announced prior to the release of this greatest hits album. However, within just a few weeks, an announcement was made that he had left the band, and the band was once again losing its lead singer.

Released in 1995, this is the 10th album in total and the last original album of Sammy Hagar's era period. It was produced by hit maker Bruce Fairburn.
Produced by Bruce, the sound is well-defined and the album is the easiest to listen to among their albums.
All of their albums during the Sammy Hagar era, including this one, went to #1 in the US.
After touring in support of this album, Sammy announced his departure from the band. The band would go on to search for a new lead singer.

In October 2022, the band announced that Mick Mars would retire from future touring activities due to ankylosing spondylitis and that John 5 (ex-Rob Zombie, David Lee Roth) would take his place. However, the interpretation of Mick's "retirement from touring" has been in dispute between Mick's side, who claims that he is only retiring from the world tour, and the rest of the band members, who claim that he is essentially leaving the band, and the matter has been in court over the earnings and other issues.
In the meantime, the lineup with John 5 released the EP "CANCELLED" in October 2024.
