Appetite consists of both hunger and hedonic components, each regulated by the hypothalamus and the brain’s reward system, respectively. So, even if there were low-molecular-weight GLP-1 drugs that could cross the BBB and reach the brain, they wouldn’t work on me—because my appetite stems from emotional eating.
