There was no Platform 0 at my station. I knew that. I’d been commuting from Minamigawa Station for years. The platforms were numbered 1 through 4. That was it. And yet, there I was, lying in bed, staring at my own handwriting telling me to go to a place that didn’t exist, at a time that, according to the letter, had already happened.
I checked my phone. 7:12 a.m. The date: Tuesday, October 14th.
On my desk, my calendar insisted it was Monday, October 13th.
