I took the TOEIC exam for the first time on December 7, and today the results were announced. To my surprise, the outcome was much better than I had expected. I thought I hadn’t done well at all, so I’m really happy.
(I’m reposting this because I received some insensitive comments after revealing my score. People who can’t acknowledge others’ effort are truly disappointing....)

📘 Phrase no.7: Chow down

So yeah, I came across this phrase while workin’ on my English online.
Somebody said it’s kinda slang, a fun, casual way to say “eat something eagerly or quickly.”

ネットで英語取り組んでるとき
このフレーズみっけたぁ
カジュアルな砕けた表現のスラングで
「がっついて食べる」ってことだって

A while back, I went ahead and tried using it in a different journal to make it my own.
Now I’m going over it again and reposting it!

で さっそく自分のものにしようと
ずいぶん前になるけど…
別のジャーナルで使ってみた
今これ復習で再投稿した

E.g.
