映画『ONCE ダブリンの街角で』のリバイバル上映を観ました。

ジョン・カーニー作品の中では、個人的には1位2位を争うほどに好きです。
全ての曲が素晴らしいし、カメラの眼差しも優しくて好きです。

ありがちなラブストーリー展開にならないのも、お気に入りポイントです。

日本最終上映を観てきました。

音楽が人を紡ぎ音楽を紡ぐ。
楽器屋のマスターのワンショットやスタジオスタッフの真顔のワンショットの見せ方が良かったなぁ☺️
ドキュメンタリーぽい映像やチェコ移民の生活も描かれていて、何よりも圧倒的な歌唱に何度も涙が。エンドロールが終わってもまた涙が溢れるとっても温かい作品でした。

本編が終わったあとの、奥浜レイラさん、澤部渡さん、高橋芳朗々さん、御三方のアフタートークが楽しくて、より作品の理解が深まりました。
もっと聞きたかったな。

Empires for more.
But me?
I fell to a silent fart
and a small, tragic leak of destiny.
And yet—
there is poetry in humiliation.
Wisdom in the stain we never planned for.
Because everyone walks this earth
one bad decision away
from learning humility the hard way.
So laugh if you must.
I do now.
For I have stared into the abyss,
and the abyss smelled suspiciously familiar.

英作文2日目。

I sometimes wonder what would happen if I had a kid.
First of all,can a guy like me even be a parent?

How much should I interfere?
Should I push my own values on them when they’re little?
Or should I not? And if I should, how much is too much?
Honestly, I don’t even know how im supposed to raise a kid in the first place.
Once I start thinking about it, it never ends.

I kinda wish there was a manual for parenting.
But at the same time, there’s no right answer is what makes it interesting.

raising-kid feels scary, not gonna lie.
But I also feel like going through it would help me grow.

For now, I’m just trying to get my life together.
so maybe one day I can be a great parent, like my mom and dad.
