晴れが続く。熱中症警戒アラート発令（7日連続、8月に入り2日目）。最高気温36℃（18日連続猛暑日、8月に入り2日目）。紫外線「やや強い」→「弱い」、熱中症「危険」→「厳重警戒」、ゲリラ雷雨「可能性が低い」。乾燥注意報発令。
朝食は、シナモンロール、あんパン、牛乳。
ヨメさんが外出したのでライナーノーツ原稿用の音源をゆっくり聴けた。文章全体もほぼ完成しつつある。今回AIも結構助けになった。ついでに書いておくとWikipediaや各ネット情報の他、シングル盤はレコード店の解説なども役に立つ。曲の作者を検索するにはdiscogsやSecondHandSongsがタメになる。これらがあるおかげで毎回どうにか書き上げる事が出来ている。ありがたい話だ。
お昼はシュガーレーズンパン、塩パン、カフェオレ。夕食は、グリーンピースごはん、味付き焼肉、レタス、キュウリ、鯛の塩焼き。
サニーボーイ・ウィリアムソン（ライス・ミラー）「Checkin' Up On My Baby」。録音されたのは60年だが、リリースは彼の死後発表された65年のアルバム『The Real Folk Blues』＜チェス＞にて。66年発ジュニア・ウェルズ盤も有名。田舎臭いが垢抜けている、不思議な魅力の爺さんだ。
