1971年リリース、Joni Mitchell による冬の名曲。❄️
クリスマスを舞台にしながらも、祝祭そのものではなく、終わったあとの静けさと心の余韻を描いた一曲です。
街はまだ飾りで輝いているのに、心の中は少し空っぽ。
そんな「12月26日」の気持ちに、驚くほどしっくりくる楽曲。
ピアノの旋律には「Jingle Bells」のモチーフがさりげなく使われていますが、曲全体はとてもパーソナルで内省的です。
歌詞の一部ではこう歌われています：
🎤 “I wish I had a river
I could skate away on”
（川があったらいいのに
そこを滑って、どこかへ行けたら）
にぎやかな日々が終わったあと、
少しだけ立ち止まって、自分の気持ちと向き合うためのウィンターソング。
