A plane carrying the president of Ukraine 🇺🇦 passed overhead, and a short time later it was on the Sanyo Road toward the city of Hiroshima.
Since we came to Hiroshima during wartime, I hope that we could get a good sense of what would happen if nuclear weapons were used.
The view that Russia has turned the "world" against it is the view of the "western world," which is less than a majority of the world. More than half of the world is neutral, and some of them hold Ukraine responsible for not abiding by the agreement. I hope that the Hiroshima summit will explore the path to peace, taking such considerations into account.
I would like the nuclear button (football) that the President of the United States brings with him to be placed as a memento in Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum as a proof that nuclear weapons will never be used again.

日本は､核兵器を持つべきだと思いますか？
私は常々､日本を守るためには核兵器を持つべきか持たないべきか､深刻に考えています。
ロシアによるウクライナ侵攻を見れば､やはり核兵器の有無は戦争に直結するのでしょう。
ですが､今の日本に必要なのは「攻撃力」ではなくて「抑止力」です。
仮に核兵器を保有したとしても､それを実際に撃てなければ意味がありません。
また､核兵器さえあれば戦争を防げるのかと言われると､それも甚だ疑問です。
これはとある映画の話ですが､アメリカが核保有量を増やしたところ､それを感知したロシアが宣戦布告と受け取って核戦争に発展した事例がありました。
つまり､戦争を抑止するために核兵器を保有したとしても､逆にそれが戦争の引き金になる可能性があるのです。
私の個人的な意見ですが､日本は核兵器を保有するべきではないと考えます。
核兵器を保有すれば目先の「抑止力」を得られますが､それは同時に「我々は他国と核戦争をする準備が整っている。」と全世界に明言することになるからです。
また､大東亜戦争において文字通りの命懸けで日本を守り抜いた英霊たちへの「我々は戦争の悲劇を二度と繰り返さない。」という誓いを破りたくないからです。
「右翼」だと罵られても構いません。
「ネトウヨ」だと謗られても構いません。
皆さんの率直な考えを､聞かせてください。
