Disconnected
Unattached
That's how I feel
Out of whack

Out of touch
Out of time
Out of umph
While in my prime

I feel but I don't feel it
I see but I don't see it
I hear but I don't hear it
I'm here but I'm not here yet

I'm cold
I'm so cold
But I say I'm okay
Because I don't feel it

Unattended
Unattached
Disconnected
Like a crack

My emotions
My confessions
My transgressions
My progression

There's a cloud in my head
There's a fog in my brain
There's a mist on the ground
There's the noise of a train

Pull the plug, kick the bucket
Sever the tie, jump the gun
I hear all this but that's not me
I still want to stay and have fun

I look at your face
But I just see fog
I look to the sky
But it's covered in smog

I know you're there
But I just don't feel you
And though it feels grey
It's meant to be blue

Disconnected from the inside
Unattached to the outside
That's how I feel at the moment
Out of whack and so confused

Sever the tie
Until you become
Completely
Unattached
